Committees

In addition to the Board of Directors, RISHP has six committees dedicated to Society advancement and operations. Each committee serves a different function and is chaired by a member of the Board. Program Development and Education Committee

Chair: Director for Program Development

Organize the annual Future of Pharmacy Showcase and other networking and CE events. 

Public Relations, Communications, and IT Committee

Chair: Director for Public Relations & Information Technology

Promote Society events and other initiatives using the website, social media, newsletters, email, and other communications. 

Legislative Committee

Chair: Director of Legislation

Identifies and advocates for local and national legislation that aligns with the mission and priorities of RISHP.

Membership Committee

Chair: Director of Membership

Responsible for member recruitment and retainment.

Finance Committee

Chair: Treasurer

Manages financial affairs by preparing an annual budget, yearly internal audit, and an external audit.

Nominations and Awards Committee

Chair: Past President

Solicits nominations for and organizes selection of Board members and annual awards.
