Profiles: the official newsletter of RISHP, provides drug information updates, information on legislative and regulatory affairs, and pharmacy practice issues related to the Society.

ACPE – Accredited Continuing Education Programs: provided at a reduced rate.

Annual Seminar: offered at a reduced rate.

Legislative Representation: before State Legislature and Board of Pharmacy.

Networking: opportunities with colleagues.

Professional enrichment and involvement: with Society’s activities.

Social Events: such as the Annual Installation and Awards Banquet, sporting events, etc.

Scholarship Awards : available to pharmacy students, technicians, and practitioners.

Types of Memberships

Active Membership:

Licensed pharmacists who support the purposes of the RISHP as stated in the Society’s Constitution and By-Laws.

Associate Members:

Supporting: individuals other than those who qualify as active members who support the purposes of the RISHP, however are not licensed pharmacists (e.g. spouses, non-pharmacist representatives, etc.)

Student: individuals enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in an accredited College of Pharmacy

Technician: graduates of a technician training program who are currently employed in an organized health care setting
